Osborne Planning were approached by the client to secure planning consent for a commercial unit on Dock Street in the heart of Tower Hamlets Borough. The area is thriving with development opportunities and new build blocks of commercial and residential are under construction along the road. The proposal was to convert the B1 unit into multiple uses and to be flexible to allow for a Cafe, Deli, Wine Bar, Education and Training, Communal Activities, Storage and Distribution. We liaised with Tower Hamlets Council and were advised that a 2 year temporary permission would be possible. We prepared the architectural drawings, planning documents and application and planning permission was subsequently granted.
