Osborne prepared and submitted approx. 4 planning applications for this project. They were all approved. The recent application combined all the elements including a double-storey side extension, single-storey rear extension, loft conversion with new rooftiles and new rooflights. The proposal was approved after several months of negotiations with the Council over the material to use for the roof, since the property was in an Article 4 designated area and in a Conservation Area.
