Osborne Planning were instructed by the client to obtain planning permission and to design a side extension to the mid-terraced house. We discussed the feasibility and planning considerations with the client and helped the client decide what type of extension would be most suitable for this property. The extension was designed to meet the client's space requirements with a large open plan living-dining room with rooflights and bi-folding doors to the garden. We also designed the extension to protect the amenity of the neighbours in terms of light and outlook. Haringey Council approved our design within 8 weeks from submission.
