Osborne Planning were instructed to advise the client on the feasibility of extending a large double fronted detached property. We provided the client with a number of designs and potential development ideas. We were then instructed to prepare a planning application and all the relevant architectural drawings for a double storey side extension over the garage, single storey full width extension, alterations to the roof to incorporate a loft conversion with rooflights and alterations to the boundary. We liaised with the council and negotiated for an electrical gate at the front of the property. The planners at Croydon Council did not want the gate on this location, but we did not give up and we argued our case which was eventually approved and granted planning permission.
